VIBRANT PITTSBURGH REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) FOR Consulting Services for the Diversity Career Guidance Collaborative Vibrant Pittsburgh hereby requests proposals from qualified firms, nonprofits or individuals capable of providing the following service(s): Consulting Services with expertise in designing, setting up, launching and implementing the Diversity Career Guidance Collaborative. Consultants with expertise in talent development, career development, career coaching, recruiting, designing and developing career guidance tools, and conducting career events are encouraged to submit a proposal. The RFP will be available no later than January 17, 2014 at 8:30am and proposals will be accepted until 5:00pm January 31 2014 by email to info@vibrantpittsburgh.org "Attention - Melanie Harrington, 2014 DCGC RFP." Please follow instructions in the RFP for proposal submission. Parties or individuals interested in obtaining a copy of the RFP can download the document from the Vibrant Pittsburgh website at www.vibrantpittsburgh.org. You can also request a copy by sending an email to info@vibrantpittsburgh.org (note in the subject line "Attention - Melanie Harrington, 2014 DCGC RFP") or calling Melanie Harrington at 412-281-8600. Vibrant Pittsburgh strongly encourages certified minority/ women and disadvantaged business enterprises to respond to this solicitation. Compliance is required with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961, P.L. 987, No. 442: Title VI and other applicable provisions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; the Department of Labor Equal Opportunity Clause (41 CFR 60-1.4); Executive Order 11625 (Utilization of Minority Business Enterprise); Executive Order 12138 (Utilization of Female Business Enterprise); in compliance with Section 504 of Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990; and the Allegheny County MBE/WBE program enacted in July 1981, which set forth goals of 13 percent Minority and 2 percent Female Business Enterprise."
